Sharing Shed plans

flea market Saturday

The Sharing Shed, sponsored by the Chapel of the Lake in Lake Saint Louis, will host a flea market from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at 4684 Lake Saint Louis Blvd. in Lake Saint Louis.Proceeds will be used to buy mattresses and bedding for clients of the Sharing Shed, a free resource for those needing household goods, furniture and related items.

Aglow gathering set

St. Peters Community Lighthouse of Aglow International invites women of St. Charles County to a gathering at 11 a.m. Sept. 20 at Life Church, 7575 Veterans Memorial Parkway in St. Peters.

Derek and Lasetha Murray will be guest speakers. Lunch will be served for $10 per person. Husbands are invited to attend this month's meeting as well.

Aglow is an interdenominational gathering of women for fellowship, encouragement and teaching.

Barbecue Saturday

at St. John's UCC

St. John's United Church of Christ, 945 Wolfrum Road in Weldon Spring, will host a barbecue beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday. Delivery will be available within a 10-mile radius for orders of 10 or more. Orders may be called in at 636-926-8995.

Morning Star Church

Morning Star Church, 1600 Feise Road in O'Fallon, will host KidsBlitz! Live, an interactive biblical teaching and entertainment event for elementary-age children and their families, at 7 p.m. Sept. 26.

to host blood drive

Book club to meet

Flea market to benefit

Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church, 1140 E. Highway N in Wentzville, will host a flea market from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 27.

There will be on-site concessions and a bake sale. All proceeds will benefit the church building fund.

Sisters sponsoring

night at the ballpark

The Sisters of the Most Precious Blood are sponsoring a Precious Blood Sisters' Night at Busch Stadium for the St. Louis Cardinals' 7:10 p.m Sept. 26 game against the Cincinnati Reds.

Tickets for the group seating cost $30 each, with a percentage of ticket revenue to benefit the Sisters. Tickets for the section must be purchased before Sept. 20. Church in Defiance

sets sausage dinner

St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 150 Defiance Road in Defiance, will host its annual sausage dinner from 11 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Sept. 28.

The dinner costs $9 for adults, $4 for children ages 5-12 and is free to children 4 and younger. Carry-outs will be available.

A country store will offer baked goods, fall vegetables, plants, crafts, a handmade quilt and apple butter in pints and quarts. Fresh sausage may be purchased by the pound. The church also will have new cookbooks for sale. For more information call 636-987-2696 or 636-987-2388.

Church plans craft

fair and garage sale

Willott Road Community Church and Christian Academy, 1610 Willott Road in St. Peters, has scheduled a craft fair/garage sale for Oct. 25.

All proceeds will be used for a Mexico mission trip in December.
