Church hosts picnic Sunday

Immaculate Conception Church of Old Monroe will host a parish picnic from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday at the Knights of Columbus picnic grounds, nine miles east of Highway 40/61 on Highway C. The event will feature a beer garden, a margarita machine, live entertainment, a quilt raffle, children's rides and inflatables, a dunking booth, games, bingo and a country store. Prime beef and chicken dinners will be served in the hall. Carryouts will be available.

Church hosts health fairThe Senior Crew of First Baptist Church of Lake Saint Louis will host a health fair beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday in the church family-life center, 2230 Lake Saint Louis Blvd. The event will feature 19 exhibits set up by vendors to show new items of interest to senior adults. The event is free and open to the public. Lunch will be available for purchase. For more information, call 636-561-8476.
