Church schedules card party, luncheon

The Ladies Aid of Zion Lutheran Church, 3866 Harvester Road, will host a card party and luncheon from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday. The luncheon costs $8 and reservations are required. Open house for Moms Club ThursdayTransfiguration Episcopal Church, 1860 Lake Saint Louis Blvd., will host an open house for Moms Club at 10 a.m. Thursday. Anyone who is interested in becoming a member is invited to come. For more information, visit www.momsclub.org.

Church hosts picnic Sunday

Immaculate Conception Church of Old Monroe will host a parish picnic from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday at the Knights of Columbus picnic grounds, nine miles east of of Highway 40/61 on Highway C. The event will feature a beer garden, a margarita machine, live entertainment, a quilt raffle, children's rides and inflatables, a dunking booth, games, bingo and a country store. Prime beef and chicken dinners will be served in the hall. Carryouts will be available.
