SENIOR ACTIVITIES Free seminars address identity theft, mortgage St. Peters' Senior Advisory Committee invites seniors to attend the first of several free seminars on topics of interest to older Americans on June 17 at St. Peters City Hall. The doors will open at 9:30 a.m. At 10 a.m. Andy Perotti from Pulaski Bank/AARP will address the reverse mortgage issue. Time will be given after his presentation to ask questions. After a short break, Joan Crenshaw from New Frontier Bank will share information on identity theft. Learn about the various ways that you can protect yourself from falling victim to the newest kind of criminals. Fishing event at Lake Whetsel Seniors (age 55 and up) are invited to go fishing in Lake Whetsel and enjoy a BBQ lunch in Fort Zumwalt Park in O'Fallon from 8 a.m.-noon on June 24. The O'Fallon Parks and Recreation Department will provide grilled hot dogs and hamburgers along with chips, soda and water. Cost is $6 for residents and $11 for nonresidents. Anglers must bring their own tackle and bait. Fishing licenses also are required. The deadline to register for Senior Fishing Morning is June 15.
