Chief warns of robberies while residents are home Lake Saint Louis police want to warn residents that a unidentified person or persons entered Lake Saint Louis homes May 25 and took cash and jewelry. Police Chief Mike Force said at least two homes were burglarized, both times while homeowners were on the property. In one case the residents were doing yard work, and in another one was asleep inside the home, he said. Police are advising residents to take appropriate precautions, such as securing entries to the home that are not within view. Citizens should report suspicious activity such as an unknown person entering a neighbor's home. Witnesses last Sunday reported seeing a woman about 5 feet 8 inches tall leaving the area in the time frame during which the burglaries are believed to have taken place.
