SENIOR ACTIVITIES Workshop addresses identity theft protection The St. Charles Senior Citizens Advisory Committee is offering a workshop on Identity Theft Protection. The workshop will take place from 9-11 a.m. March 19 at the Criminal Justice Center, 1781 Zumbehl Road. The presenter will be Joan Crenshaw from Frontier Bank. O'Fallon says 'Let's Talk Legal' The city of O'Fallon's Senior Advisory Board is sponsoring a free seminar, "Seniors, Let's Talk Legal," from 9 a.m.-noon April 12, at the O'Fallon Senior Center, 106 N. Main St., O'Fallon. The seminar will be led by attorneys E. Jane Hoyt (Hoyt and Roediger) and Martha Brown (Oelbaum and Brown), who will discuss wills and trusts, powers of attorney, beneficiary of deeds, payable on death property and transfer on death property. Hoyt specializes in estate planning and Brown is an elder law specialist. Reservations are requested to ensure adequate seating. Call 636-474-2732. The eight-member O'Fallon Senior Advisory Committee meets at 2:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of the month at City Hall to discuss issues, programs and plans concerning residents aged 55 years and older.
