Area firefighters helped

make toy drive a success

A huge thank-you goes out to area firefighters and emergency personnel for their generosity once again this year with our Discovery Toys toy drive. We teamed up to donate toys to the children and their families at the St. Louis Children's Hospital and St. John's Mercy Medical Center burn units. More than $2,500 in toys, books and games was donated to help these children during the holidays and throughout the year for therapy purposes.

We are in our 12th year of this very worthwhile project, and so appreciate all of the help that you give us. We have made a huge difference in our community!

Here's to a safe and healthy new year to the following fire departments: High Ridge, Mehlville, West Overland, Webster Groves, Black Jack, Hazelwood, Metro West, Pattonville, Robertson, Spanish Lake, Glendale, St. Louis Fire Academy Training Coordinates, Riverview, Richmond Heights, Metro North and Wentzville.

Thanks again so much for your support. We look forward to another successful year in 2008. God Bless.
